BD is back , not only with a new name, but a fantastic range with a new look , which I must say is very chic and with the look of a high end range – and a new feel. This is the first Revamp of the range since the launch in 1998.
Barbara Daly the well known make up artist was originally involved in the make up range launch, she departed 6 years ago – but the range has grown so strong in its 16years on the market.
Which I think is fantastic, the power of a great product and supermarket. Ever evolving technology and innovation for the products, it’s a new high level for BD Trade Secrets.Abby Ireland the make up artist was at the event, held at the new place to be, the harm yard hotel, showing press and the odd celeb (Wink, Wink). The new range, which she has worked along side tesco.
Abby’s must haves were on display, being used and we were all lucky to leave with a few pieces from the range. I’m heavily into the lipstick range, I was lucky enough to get two! I couldn’t live without and have ombre’d together for a fabulous studio look.
That deep Gothic 90’s nude, the Kendal Jenner look everyone has been after. Capturing the mood with a natural nude with a flick of gold shot through, fab alone but the combo together – utter perfection! Amazing formula and staying power.
I also got a brown mascara, oddly I had said the day before I wanted one, for off London days. The skinny wand catches the fine lashes, giving soft wide open look to the eyes.
Im also a fan of the quads – a pallet of four tones that work great together. Which have fantastic pigments paying off on the eyes, the ranges price point is such good value for the high quality. I’m very impressed with the event and range and it has gone into my personal kit, wearing the full range to a event the next day. My skin looked great and the make up lasted all day, so if on a budget but you want staying power I do recommended the BD range!
Lipsticks roughly £5.99. Foundation in 6shades £8.99
