Each season, all designers are recreating their creative vision and showing their newest collections for upcoming season. Last night we got the chance to see the amazing new collection of a contemporary London based womenswear brand, Lui’s! Known for it’s classic aesthetics of design and mixture of beauty and elegance, bringing the finest luxury to British fashion market, the designer and founder Kiki Lui, has amazed us with her A/W ’15 collection!
Following it’s signature of classic silhouettes the newest collection by the brand wasn’t any different, but pure perfection of classic beauty.Bringing the inspiration from as far as, 1920’s, concentrating on the contrast of military and Art Deco. Through the combination of shapes, sharp geometric patterns and eye for detail the whole collection full of mix and match pieces makes it so easy to wear and style in many different ways.
The whole collection brings the Art Deco romanticism manifested through it’s feminine silhouettes made with light fabrics such as silk and sheer. But of course it couldn’t be an autumn/winter collection without some heavy duty fabrics. Let’s face it, during those cold weeks a jacket or a sweater is highly needed in our wardrobes and Lui’s brings the most versatile and unique jackets for next season! Hand made heavy wool sweaters in classic, blacks, grey’s and nudes will keep you warm and stylish. Next to the sweaters there were also so classic biker coats, giving the military statement feeling with it’s pockets, zips and long line cut, coming in different shapes and colors, it’s a perfect statement jacket for not only autumn/ winter but for the whole year!
We also absolutely love the color pallet within the whole collection, going from the must have for autumn winter season, classic blacks, to different shades of grey, and luxury olive tones and of course the warm shades of pastel pinks and nudes.
