It’s Fashions Finest 10th Season doing London Fashion Week, how crazy is that? Deborah and a small team really did cherry pick some fabulous designers this season and I will be showing you my favourites from this season. I love going to see off-schedule shows because you get the chance to see new designers who are finding their feet within the industry, some who need a little help with direction and some who just blow you out of the water.
This particular designers collection was incredible to watch down the runway, as I began to watch the models turn around the corner. In only what I can describe as art, models came down the runway in Copper made avant-guard tops – which were each hand crafted, it really was beautiful to see.
Another favourite of mine was the Hellavagirl collection, it really was a spectacle to see, the time and effort taken into making each of those garments must have taken days if not months. In what I can only describe as Dior gone wild, Hellavagirl showed the off-schedule designers how it was done, she even got a standing ovation at the end – it was well deserved! See the video here:

Last but by no means least was Sebastian London, whom I featured as my Spotlight from last London’s Fashion Week and to say he didn’t disappoint is an understatement of the century. The designer has spent time in the rainforest within Africa gaining inspiration for his collection, the opening of the show was a flexible dancer who showed off some of Sebastian’s creations, but mainly to set the seen.
The bongo beat started and the model began to strut the runway, each garment so detailed and the fabric manipulated in such amazing ways, it was worthy of the runways of Paris. The audience couldn’t stop gasping in awe and admiration for the collection and even a few got their own applause, of course as you can imagine a rapturous applause at the end, everyone whistling and standing congratulating the designer.See a clip of the finale catwalk here:
