With their creative inspiration based on fairy tales and princesses, fantasy, magic and mysteries, Ten Image have launched their latest makeup collection, Mystic Legend. Available exclusively in the UK from Seventa Image, it’s in perfect time for the approaching Christmas party season!

So let’s start at the beginning – what comes in this new Mystic Legend set?
First they’re giving you the perfect way to prep your eyes, with (Paraben Free) Eyes Relax – £14. It’s a treatment to refresh and stimulate the eye area, help reduce puffiness, dark circles and decongest the skin. Using the mini tri roller applicator, it gently massages the delicate eye area as you use it, helping it to better penetrate the skin.
Desert’s Colours – £25 is a versatile terracotta powder compact made up from a range of colours for blushing and adding warmth to the face.
Their 10 hour, Eternity Shadow – £17 is also silky smooth, waterproof and comes in a double end pencil. You get two pencils in the complete set or you can buy them individually and I’m loving them both. Intense metallic colours in bold hues of Petrol/Forest and lighter, shimmery Bronze/Terra. But the best part for me, as a makeup artist, is that they really do last, and at £17 each for professional waterproof makeup, it’s a great deal.
The Paraben Free Long-Lasting Water-Resistant Eyeliner – £21 comes in a pure deep green, reminding you of Christmas hues and luxurious velvets. It’s innovative formula with polymers technology guarantees the intense colour and ingredients including sunflower and mimosa wax give this eyeliner a softness and creaminess that makes it so easy to apply. But the best part? It stays put for hours!
And to finish off the eyes, Extra Bold Mascara – £17 (Paraben, Carbon Black & Fragrance Free) is a very intense black long lasting mascara which builds up lashes without clumping from the first application.
Moving to the lips, the waterproof Satin Lip Liner – £9 in ‘Siena’ comes in a creamy texture, perfect for defining lips with intense flawless results in a single application. Blend the liner with one of the two coloured Supreme Lipstick – £17 in natural ‘Mink’ or bold striking ‘ Orange’. The lipsticks contain filters to protect your lips from the sun rays, and contain Vitamin E and Aloe Vera for smoothing and moisturising lips.
Jewel Nail Polish – £5 completes the look. Toluene and Formalderhyde Free, these long lasting polishes come in deep, dark Prussian Blue or Amber. I’m in love with the dark blue – it looks fabulous for the party season and dark winter nights.
I got to try this new makeup collection and benefited from a complete make over as part of a demonstration at it’s launch. I can see why the metallic hues, the intense shades and bold colours were inspired by magic and mystery…. Mystic Legends fits it perfectly.
