26 year old Luissa Burton from Worcester was crowned Miss Earth England at the Birmingham Burlington hotel on May the 7th. The beauty queen represented West Midlands in the sort after competition. Luissa tried three times for the crown and proved three is s charm. The Ford signed model burst into tears as her name was called to represent her country in the international final of Miss Earth one of 4 biggest beauty pageants in the world to be held in a top secret location later on this year where Burton will compete against over 100 countries around the world.
Burton graduated from the university of Nottingham in 2012 and is the true definition of beauty and brains. Luissa was proudly sponsored by Ashwood Law and Deborah Lindquist Eco fashion wear. Burton won in a beautiful bespoke design by Nadine Merabi designer to the stars.
Burton said “Having the opportunity to represent my country in Miss Earth is the greatest honour and privilege. It has taught me that if you persevere and work hard anything is possible. I will endeavor to be a true Earth warrior as we need to raise more awareness for environmental issues locally, nationally and globally”
