Jeager’s heritage is known for the clean cut and classic silhouettes which can be so easily owned and worn by anyone. It defiantly makes life so much easier, let’s face it, fashion shouldn’t be a hard. Sometimes the most simple and classic pieces are all we need in our wardrobes, it’s a staple. Jeager’s autumn/winter collection for 2016 was full of the necessary fashion pieces, from silk shirts, cashmere sweaters to ooversize coats and simple, elegant dresses.
The luxury brand presented its new collection in 5 different rooms of The One Horsegrounds, the womenswear collection took, 3 of those room, which can mean only one thing. Lot’s to chose from, and the amount of choices can be bit overwhelming, but each and every piece from the collection can be so easily styled all together or separately, being able to get a whole outfit for every occasion, whenever it’s formal or casual, from one store makes shopping and styling a joy rather than a struggle. The jackets from the collection were beautiful as ever, the A-line cut, going down to the knee length, made out of different colors and fabrics, ideal for any lady, wanting a new jacket for autumn days or winter nights. And as trench coats are simply a must for autumn, Jaeger has created a classic trench in the shade of burned nude. It couldn’t get any more British than a trench coat.
But the classic must have’s aren’t the only items that Jaeger has to offer, with a stunning selection of jeans from straight, to skinny and girlfriend cut? During the press day, it was the first time I’ve seen “girlfriend” cut jeans, and just like “boyfriend” cut jeans, they are bit lose on thighs but unlike the “boyfriend”jeans, they are more fitted on the ankles, I have a feeling these will be the next big thing next season.
And of course what is a new collection without accessories? As autumn winter days are all about fabrics and textures, those couldn’t be missed in the new collection, the suede bags with leather handle and buckle, will defiantly catch anyone’s eye while wearing them. And as I’m on the topic of eye catching, have anyone ever went unnoticed while wearing a hat? I think not. Isn’t autumn, winter season all about hats? We need to protect our hair against the rain, and hat is defiantly more stylish than umbrella.
