An old racing jacket uncovered from a vintage market set the tone for PA5H’s spring/summer 2017 collection, Tyred. With more than a nod to Formula 1 and the early ‘90s, bold reds, stylised jumpsuits and unique textures took centre stage alongside sportswear elements inspired by urban American subculture.
Vinyl textiles and light wool were contrasted with stone wash denim accents and metallics, whilst optical illusion hand-beaded pieces added discreet luxury to the urban-sports-inspired collection. Known for mixing bold textiles with statement beading, a key PA5H piece was the checkerboard-beaded, cropped jacket featuring over 100,000 beads.
PA5H’s womenswear took on a counterpart this season, with a selection of men’s pieces hitting the track. The highlight? A hand-beaded bomber jacket.
